The University of Trieste (uniTs) was founded in 1924 and is located in Trieste, Italy. According to documentation, the proposal for establishing this university dates back to the 1800s, when local leaders demanded that citizens be educated on economics and law. As a result, several higher learning institutions began to form. With commerce and business as a start, the other faculties followed between 1942 and 1998.

How to Apply – Step by Step Complete Process 

University of Trieste application process is online, so you must submit your application online. Below, we provide you with a complete process for how to apply for admissions at uniTs.

Eligibility Criteria

There are the following eligibility criteria for uniTs

Average Academic Score

  • GPA – 2, IB – 24, Percentage – 55

Average Entrance Score

  • IELTS – 5.5, TOEFL – 80

Required Application Documents

For Bachelor:

  • The culmination of a minimum of 12 years of global education
  • Certification of your final school-leaving qualification and a statement of comparability
  • National university entrance examination certificate
  • Official transcript
  • Italian language proficiency certificate (CELI, CILS, PLIDA, CLIQ): a level of B2 is required.

For Master:  

  • Certificate of degree
  • Statement of comparability and certification of your final school-leaving qualification
  • Qualification, including scores and credit hours. 
  • High school diploma.
  • Resident permit.

Steps for Apply:

  • The University of Trieste provides courses of study at various levels and in 11 different areas to complete your personal and professional training.
  • You must first select the degree program you wish to pursue before you can continue your education. Once you have chosen a degree program, you must apply to that program. Gather all the required documents for the admissions process.
